Recital Information

Mr. Parasky is planning to hod three solo recitals and two flute choir concerts for the 2020-2021 season of the flute studio in order to increase student performance opportunities this year.

Details for each event will be announced two months ahead of time and will be sent in an email and updated here as well.

March 2021 Flute Ensemble Conrt

The studio flute ensembles are collaborating for a hybrid recital project! This unique event is featuring both in person and online participants for final concert videos.

In person participants will be recording videos of their ensemble music in March. Mr. Parasky is planning to open all windows and doors into fellowship hall for the recordings so that we don't need to use our flute masks for the concert recordings. If it is chilly that day, then please dress in layers. The room will definitely be flooded with fresh air for the recording sessions!

The videos of the in person participants will then be used to create click tracks for the online participants in to record their individual parts at home. The studio video technician will merge the videos together into a joint performance!

If online participants want to come in person for the recording sessions, then they are welcome. Just confirm with Mr. Parasky the day before so that he can set up appropriately.

April 2021 Virtual Solo FluteRecital

All students have been given solos for the spring recital. For the first time ever in studio history - Mr. Parasky gave out solo flute pieces that are written to be performed without piano as they are all unaccompanied pieces.

The Spring Recital fee is $20 per student. This will be invoiced via PayPal on April 25 and will be due by May 5.

This recital will work in a similar fashion to the December Holiday recital video project:

In person students will have a video performance recorded by Mr. Parasky at any flute lesson in April.
Online students will have to record their own videos at home or schedule a special recording session with Mr. Parasky.

All recital videos are due by May 1, 2021. The studio video technician will then assemble four concert videos to be shared with the flute studio upon completion. This should be available for viewing on or before May 20, 2021.
