February 2021

There are no lesson breaks in the month of February
The Spring/Summer Registration information will be released March 1, 2021. This will include an updated lesson schedule and flute ensemble information for April-September. The 10 week summer term portion of lessons begins on April 25, 2021 and runs until July 18, 2021. Students retain their current lesson slot but limited schedule shifts are available in June and July if needed.
The next extended break from lessons takes place from March 31-April 6, 2021.

January 2021

There are no regular lessons held on:
- Monday, January 18
- Tuesday, January 19

December 2020

Mr. Parasky is planning to offer in person instruction again on Monday, January 4, 2021!
No Lessons are held from Tuesday, December 22- Saturday. January 2, 2021.

November 2020

No Lessons are held from November 9-15 and from November 25-29

October 2020

Mr. Parasky has added a bonus day of small ensemble coaching sessions. Please mark your calendars and plan to attend these coaching sessions in person or online.

There has been a small change to the lesson schedule in November for Sunday students. You are now off on November 15, 2020 but will have lessons on November 8, 2020. This is just a simple date swap for the scheduled day off.

Mr. Parasky and the Parasky Flute Studios were featured in the current issue of the Flute Examiner!

September 2020

Mr. Parasky is pleased to announce that he has been invited to return as the conductor for both the 2021 Virtual Convention and the 2022 In-Person Convention for the Flute Society of Washington's Mid Atlantic High School Flute Choir!

Details are being formalized on how the events will work and be tied into one another. Stay tuned for more information about this exciting opportunity and the program that is being developed.

Mr. Parasky successfully launched his first online course this past summer called "Studio Ensemble Revolution". This course was designed as a teaching tool in order to illustrate how to incorporate studio ensembles into their private music studios and the tools available in order to teach ensembles in an online format.

Congratulations to Mr. Jim Sheppard on his retirement from teaching private saxophone lessons. The halls at the Newlonsburg Music Academy will feel a little more empty with him not around this year but he is still offering full service repair work in his newly added "free time".
